about the artist

Elyse Bertani is a stained glass artist and designer based in St. Louis, MO. She spent the past 11 years working in Los Angeles, CA in various creative fields, eventually honing in on glass as her primary medium.

Her work incorporates classic leaded and Tiffany-style glass techniques with modern design concepts to bring light, color, and texture into a space.

Her goal is to use light and color to freeze moments in time- the glow of sunshine through a window hanging, or the ripple of color refractions across a kitchen table are the little moments that make glass a gorgeous and timeless medium to work within.

Elyse received her BFA from Stephens College and is a member of the Stained Glass Association of America. Her work has been featured in Sunset Magazine, House Beautiful, and is available to purchase at the Oceanside Museum of Art.
